This year’s mantel is a bit more simple than last years that you can see here. I wanted to incorporate the blue green colors I have added this year so I painted some inexpensive pumpkins from Walmart. You can see what the pumpkins looked like before here. ![]()
The smaller orange pumpkins came from Hobby Lobby and I glazed them to darken them up a bit so they would coordinate with my wreath colors.
I had some small pumpkins from last year that I painted and added to a wreath. I pushed toothpicks into the bottom of them so they would stick into the wreath.
I like the simplicity of it all.
Especially since I have another fall arrangement on my sofa table in the same room. I will share that later.

Your mantle is beautiful, Tracy! The idea of glazing the pumpkins is wonderful. I have a couple that are really bright orange so I will be using this tip.

The glazed pumpkins look great on the mantel. I haven't even gotten out any of my Fall stuff yet. I need to but it's still so warm here!
