My home is mostly muted colors. Although I love turquoise colored clothing and jewelry, it doesn’t work well in my home. I wanted to give the color a try so I chose a pumpkin because it is seasonal and I have never seen a turquoise pumpkin.
I had this traditional colored orange pumpkin that I painted with acrylic turquoise paint with a black glaze.
And now it is turquoise.
Would you put a turquoise pumpkin in your house?

ReplyDeleteI love it! Isn't it crazy the "funky" things we like? I think it makes such a cool statement. A statement that says you will dare to be a little different and to think outside the box. If you want to get rid of it like you did the scales... :) just joking... Great paint job...

So pretty! I would put it next to my purple sofa, I love the two colors together! I'd also put it with the original orange. Rust and turquoise are another winning combo for me.
